GROUP RIDES
The Mammoth Gran Fondo group rides are free to all registered riders and their guests. Take advantage of the opportunity to explore the area on these casual group rides before the big day.
Please be sure to arrive 10 minutes early for the ride - everyone will need to sign a waiver and each group ride leader will give a short route breakdown before departure.
All group rides will follow these guidelines:
• no drops
• multiple re-group points
• casual pacing
10:00am - 30 Miles
Ride with John Sindell & Lee Niffenegger from Eastside Velo from Footloose Sports to Brown's Campground.
Join us on an out and back ride for those riders to want to recon the last 15 miles of the course.
11:00am - 18 Miles
Ride with Matt Hall & Mike Braun from SEMBA.
Join us on an trip around Mammoth Scenic Loop, a classic local route which recons the first section of the course. Begins at Footloose Sports.
1:00pm - 18 Miles
Ride with Dave Sheek of Mammoth Tuff.
Join us on an trip around Mammoth Scenic Loop, a classic local route which recons the first section of the course. Begins at Footloose Sports.
2:00pm - 20 Miles
Ride with Caroline Britton & Sean Shahmirzadi from the Mammoth Hospital.
Join us on an out and back trip to Convict Lake.
3:00pm - 26 Miles
Ride with Pedal Mafia
Join us on a trip to Mammoth Scenic Loop, then down to Green Church and back up the 203. The perfect recon ride to check out the first and last sections of the race, along with some Mammoth staples.
